  • Electrical Contracts Manager

    Into M&E Solutions is a leading M&E contractor that works throughout the UK and we have a permanent vacancy for an experienced electrical project manager based within our Nottingham office. 

    We carry out the complete design, installation and commissioning of retail, commercial and industrial installations and the role will involve taking a Project from initial enquiry to final account and could vary from a few days’ work to a 6-month project.

     Electrical Contracts Manager Role

     Candidate must have experience in the role as a project manager within the electrical contracting industry.

    • Understand the requirements of BS7671, BS5266 and BS5839
    • Work within a project team taking a project from tender to handover.
    • Attend design team and project meetings
    • Work within a team to complete any outstanding tenders
    • Understand material requirements and purchase all materials required on individual projects
    • Attend site review and report on site progress with our onsite team
    • Build up a rapport with the client and maintain a professional relationship
    • Review and produce NICEIC certification
    • Produce construction issue drawings and update on-going drawings with our CAD team
    • Management of operatives of all abilities, through good communication and working to overcome any problems

    Qualifications, Experience & Attributes

    • City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 and 2 (or equivalent) or ONC/HNC in relevant subject
    • Smartly dressed and presented
    • Articulate and able to communicate at all levels
    • Be a team player but able to operate at an individual level
    • Have a UK full driving licence
